Sa Si Mum was founded by a group of Thai women that traditionally participate in agrarian work. Stitching ornaments was the perfect way to use skills that they already had to earn income during slow agricultural seasons! They have successfully created a way to earn consistent, year-round income throughout that doesn't require working multiple jobs simultaneously or migrating to follow crop cycles.
